Project “REGIOCRAFTS”
Program INTERREG IV C
Implementation period: 2012-2014
In the framework of the Interreg IV C Program, this project was born as an initiative of a previous transnational project (“MidBalticCrafts”), carried out by the Latvian partner Zemgale Planning Region, which placed the emphasis on handicrafts as a source for local employment, income and economic stability for the region concerned. It regarded crafts as a way to help the conservation of culture and heritage. REGIOCRAFTS sought to collect good practices from the sector and to identify the problems found in several European regions.
