“TOURITAGE” Project
Program: Erasmus +
Co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union
Implementation Period: February 2023-February 2026
The TOURITAGE project aims to strengthen the academic sector by acquiring the necessary skills for the innovative management of cultural heritage through tourism development. It identifies the factors related to the potential of cultural heritage in the development of tourist destinations, thereby promoting socio-economic recovery. Additionally, it explores the role of tourist sites in the preservation and revitalization of heritage assets. TOURITAGE also seeks to create a conducive environment for universities, SMEs, and national authorities to collaborate in generating innovative solutions and products, organizing interdisciplinary knowledge, and basing conservation decisions on this knowledge.
