The Andalusian Public Foundation El legado andalusí brings to Fez a photography exhibition that highlights the architectural splendour of al-Andalus as a crossroads of Islamic Eastern and Western cultures.

On April 9 at 6:30 p.m., El legado andalusí Foundation, the Cervantes Institute of Fez and the Embassy of Spain in Morocco officially opened the exhibition Architecture of al-Andalus: A meeting point between the Islamic East and West in the Exhibition Hall of the Cervantes Institute. The display includes 24 large-format photographs that showcase the beauty, diversity, and cultural significance of al-Andalus’ architectural legacy.

Curated by the Andalusian Public Foundation El legado andalusí, the exhibition presents a captivating view of an architectural tradition that reflects not only aesthetic and practical values but also profound cultural and spiritual symbolism.

The exhibition will be open to the public at the Cervantes Institute of Fez until June 6, 2025, from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with free admission until full capacity is reached.
