El legado andalusí Foundaton and Club Mototurismo Deportivo Andaluz (Andalusian Sports Motorcycle Tourism Club) have signed a collaboration agreement to promote motorcycle journeys along the Routes of El legado andalusí
The Routes of El legado andalusí wind along captivating roads ideal for Motorcycle Tourism, steering clear of conventional and crowded routes. These somewhat hidden and secluded pathways often reveal landscapes known to only a select few, inviting you to explore them at your own pace and immerse yourself in their beauty.
Our Routes provide the chance to experience leisurely drives amidst delightful weather, breathtaking landscapes, paths steeped in history, culture, and heritage, along with natural spaces. They also include stops to explore various monumental sites and take pleasure in local culinary delights.
Under the Collaboration Agreement, motorcycle touring events, like the Mototour El Legado andalusí, will be arranged. These events aim to foster a motorcycle tourism culture that showcases the historical, cultural, natural, and ethnographic heritage of the destinations visited, with a particular emphasis on lesser-known areas.
Club Mototurismo Deportivo Andaluz has been entrusted with organizing two activities for the 2024 edition: the FIM Mototour of Nations and FAM Discovery.
FIM Mototour of Nations is an international gathering that brings together motorcyclists from around 15 countries. Held annually in a different nation, the host country offers participants a glimpse into its cultural wealth through heritage sites, scenic landscapes, traditional performances, local cuisine, and much more.
The 2023 edition of the El legado andalusí Mototour served as a trial run for the upcoming Mototour of Nations 2024, arranged by the FIM in collaboration with Club Mototurismo Deportivo Andaluz, anticipating over 300 riders from diverse nationalities to join the event.
The FIM Mototour of Nations 2024 is scheduled to be held in Granada. Participants will embark on exploring various routes of the El legado andalusí Trails between August 27th and 30th from this location.
FAM Discovery – FAM Discovery Challenge organized by the Andalusian Motorcycling Federation. This engaging activity invites participants to traverse the Routes of El legado andalusí, following a linear route starting from Seville, Malaga, and Jaén, and ending in Granada. Participants have the freedom to set their own pace along the route, visiting checkpoints at iconic sites of the Trails where they can stamp their official passport for motivation.
